£ÛMain Components and Principle£Ý£º
1. Components: This product consists of catheter and connector.
2. Principle£º
Controllable suction catheter is mainly used in patients who are unable to expectorate or under general anesthesia. It can also be used in critically ill patient whose sputum is prone to clogging breathing passages, which will affect the respiratory and cause asphyxia. Controllable suction tube has the auxiliary suction function to help discharge the sputum. Flexible but with certain strength catheter facilitates the insertion through oral and nasal cavity to the trachea. There are two fenestras (on opposite sides) around the nozzle of the catheter to facilitate extensive suction, which will not affect suctioning when the nozzle is clogged.
£ÛInstructions for Use£Ý
1. Take out the product from package. Open product packaging. Remove contents.
2. Slide the suction end along oral cavity, tracheal tube or nasal cavity down to trachea.
3. Connect the 3-way revolvable connector to the connection tube.
4. While suctioning, press and hold the 3-way dipped finish with the thumb to adjust the suction intensity. (Model II and Model III)
5. It can be used compatibly with tracheal tubes or be used alone. Mainly used for suctioning sputum.
